Corey May has always been fascinated by the unique power of video games to tell a multifaceted story—the player’s story and the protagonist’s story. He aims to break down the conventional tension between the “story” of the game and the “playing” of the game, with the goal of creating a more immersive video game experience.
Corey May's bio
Corey May has been working in video games since 1995, when he served as a narrative designer on Dark Sun Online: Crimson Sands while still an undergraduate at Harvard University. Since then, Corey has worked on Prince of Persia: The Warrior Within; Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones; Assassin’s Creed; and Assassin’s Creed II at Ubisoft, as well as titles for Electronic Arts and Warner Brothers Interactive. Corey studied film producing at the University of Southern California’s Peter Stark Producing Program. In 2013, he joined Alice, Ubisoft’s narrative studio.
