Panelists will discuss how to balance agency and empathy in VR, and how creating effective VR experiences can encourage audiences to take action.

Georgia King (Moderator) - Deputy Ideas Editor, Quartz
Georgia Frances King is an Australian editor living in New York who focuses on culture, quality of life, and the intersection of lifestyle and science+tech. Before moving to America from her home of Melbourne—and after stints living in both India and Japan—she was second-in-command of frankie magazine, the award-winning quirky Australian women’s lifestyle title. Most recently, King was the editor of Kinfolk magazine, the seminal “slow lifestyle” publication, where she also edited the New York Times best seller The Kinfolk Home. She is now a deputy ideas editor at Quartz, where she gets to think about the big picture every day.

Toby Coffey - Head of Digital Development, National Theatre
Toby Coffey is Head of Digital Development for the National Theatre. His team is responsible for the creative and technical development of the digital interfaces between the NT and its audiences. He focuses on developing forms of digital engagement and interaction around the NT and its repertoire of productions. Toby is currently leading the NT’s Immersive Storytelling initiatives looking at the application of 360 films, VR and installations in compelling methods of storytelling.

Toby has over 15 years expertise in the digital arena from creative, technical, production and social perspectives.

Molly Eagan - Vice President, Patient Experience and Employee Engagement; Executive Producer, Across the Line, Planned Parenthood Federation of America
Molly Eagan created and launched Planned Parenthood Experience (PPX), a national strategic initiative to improve patient and employee experience across Planned Parenthood Federation of America, winning Fast Company’s prestigious Innovation By Design Award in 2016. She is an executive producer of Across the Line, a virtual-reality experience about accessing abortion that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Eagan served as a senior leader and innovator at New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and at the American Red Cross September 11 Recovery Program, where she oversaw distribution of $1 billion of donor contributions received after the terrorist attacks.

Kane Lee - Head of Content Development and Strategy, Baobab
Kane Lee oversees content development and strategy for Baobab Studios and executive produced the virtual-reality company's award-winning film Invasion!, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and has gone on to the Cannes, Shanghai, Annecy, Melbourne, and Toronto International Film Festivals. An Emmy-nominated producer (Spooksville, My Sweet Audrina), Lee previously served as vice president of development and production at Jane Startz Productions, and is producing the feature based on the Academy Award–nominated short film The Dam Keeper. Lee also worked on Horton Hears A Who! and Ice Age: The Meltdown for Blue Sky Studios/20th Century Fox Animation.

Resh Sidhu - Creative Director, VR, Framestore
Resh Sidhu is the award-winning creative director of virtual reality within Framestore's VR Studio, based in New York. She uses creative direction, storytelling, and conceptual ideation to help lead the growing VR team in creating groundbreaking work for clients. Her work has received industry-wide recognition, with recent wins at Cannes Lions, the Webby's, the FWA, the Campaign Big Awards, BIMAs, Design Week, and AB Creative Showcase.
