Step to the Line
Shot entirely on location in California maximum-security prisons, Step to the Line is a virtual reality documentary that aims to provides a new perspective on prisoners, the correctional system, and even yourself. In this project, we see how release from prison can be just as jarring as incarceration, and how parallel lives diverge when someone serves time.

Ricardo Laganaro
Ricardo Laganaro is one of the most innovative filmmakers in Brazil. His many-sided knowledge blends live action, stop-motion animation, computer graphics, and writing. Laganaro entered the immersive world directing a full dome experience for Museum of Tomorrow in Rio. During 2016, he directed musical and advertising projects in 360 that have garnered more than 60 million views. Laganaro was selected by Oculus to be part of its VR for Good program, where he directed the VR documentary Step to the Line. The documentary premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival 2017 and was also acclaimed by Mark Zuckerberg on his Facebook page.
