Biography
Louise Story is executive producer of the New York Times's live-stream programming. She is helping the Times create this new medium, which is aimed at the Facebook Live audience and has a focus on interactivity and visual journalism. She has spent a decade at the Times. During this span, she has helped on multimedia and strategy initiatives and has been a leading investigative reporter. Her award-winning journalism has spurred major reforms and law enforcement cases. In 2013–2014, she was on the small newsroom team that created the Innovation Report. The report was pivotal to the Times, which has now adopted all of the report's main recommendations.

The session will include a workshop challenge in which you’ll work in small groups to create and share your own livestreams.
