Samsung has been leading a revolution in immersive storytelling since 2014, when it introduced the first mobile-powered VR headset. Chief Marketing Officer Marc Mathieu believes that storytelling is a democratic right, and that everyone should have the tools to shape, create, and share VR—also known as “the greatest empathy tool of our time.” In order for any medium to create change, a critical mass must be reached. We are living in a time of unprecedented technological advancement, but we must remember that content has always been the driving force behind any new storytelling new medium.
