Much like Mothers Against Drunk Driving was created to reduce drunk driving, Moms Demand Action was created to demand action from legislators, companies, and educational institutions to establish commonsense gun reforms. The organization supports the Second Amendment, but believes commonsense solutions can help decrease the escalating epidemic of gun violence that kills too many every day.

Moms Demand Action’s nonpartisan, grassroots movement has grown to include a chapter in every state. It is working to educate, motivate, and mobilize supporters to take action that will result in stronger laws and policies to save lives.
