Ryan Leslie — Beyond Broadcasting: The Next Generation of Mass Communication
A few years ago, Grammy nominated musician and entrepreneur Ryan Leslie realized that his success as a musician and public figure was directly linked to how well he could connect with his fans. Interested in optimizing how he communicated with them, Ryan created Superphone, which lets him talk, track, and transact with his hundreds of thousands of fans in real time via text. Now at each of his shows, he gives out his personal cell phone number to his fans. Leslie believes that technology can help us better track and optimize our social interactions, making sure that we’re investing in the right relationships— which in turn can help us achieve our life goals and become our best selves.
