Rangers Wanted

Challenge

As part of our ongoing engagement with the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library (TRPL), we helped create a Content Studio that aims to amplify the Library’s core messaging and principles outside of its four walls. Given that the Library won’t open until 2026, it also needed a regular stream of content to help build awareness. A specific goal of the Content Studio is to reach children and families with its messaging, as well as to employ the latest technology to establish the Library’s reputation as a forward-thinking institution.

Solution

Rangers Wanted, an augmented reality (AR) mobile game aimed at kids aged 8-12 and their families, achieves both of these goals by using innovative technology to help inspire the next generation of conservationists.

AN ALL-STAR TEAM

To build the game, we worked with both Niantic Labs, the creators of the wildly popular mobile app Pokémon Go, and Trigger XR, world leaders in mixed reality development. As Executive Storytellers, we oversaw the game’s creative direction, providing input at all levels– from interaction design to branding and promotion.

The game is a fun way to introduce your kids to the grizzly bear.
